Refund pending after failed Meta Pay transfer

A transfer failed, but the refund still shows pending and the money has not returned to my card. The transfer failed right away, but the refund has been pending since Friday. My bank only sees the original hold.

Holds can stay visible while the failed transfer reverses. Add the failed transfer date, status wording, and card type.

It says failed in Messenger and pending in Meta Pay history, which is why I am confused.
